The American Red Cross in Greater New York is mobilizing dozens of staff and volunteers to assist New York City in the fierce winter blizzard.

When February’s fierce blizzard covered the city in a thick blanket of white, the American Red Cross in Greater New York mobilized dozens of volunteers and employees to keep New Yorkers informed and educated. Staff members trudged through snow to the Red Cross early on the morning of the blizzard to help give interviews, provide tips on winter safety and prepare Emergency Response Vehicles.
