Red Cross Comforts Families at Flight
587 Memorial
The
American Red Cross in Greater New York assisted and comforted the
children and others who lost loved ones in the tragic aviation
incident of Flight 587 on November 12, 2001.
More than 70 Red Cross volunteers provided blankets and hot drinks as well
as emotional support to hundreds of family members and friends on the chilly
day of the one-year anniversary.
