Overview

ARC/GNY operates the busiest disaster response program in the nation. We arrive at emergencies within minutes, 365 days a year, helping those affected with food, clothing, shelter, and crisis counseling as well as with financial assistance. We respond to an average of eight emergencies a day and more than 3,000 emergencies annually, ranging from apartment fires to the Staten Island Ferry incident to the attacks of September 2001.
