“CPR” class is for the general public. “CPR for the Professional Rescuer” is for individuals who have a job-related duty to respond to emergencies, such as lifeguards and firefighters. |

5. What is the difference between "First Aid" and "First Aid: Responding to Emergencies"?
The content of each class is similar, providing instruction on how to handle a variety of medical emergencies such as bleeding, shock and other injuries. “First Aid” is a three-hour and 45-minute class that uses a video as the primary teaching aid. “First Aid: Responding to Emergencies” is a two-day, expanded class that provides more information on the topics, and is presented in a lecture format. |

6. What is the difference between a "Review" and a "Challenge" class?
A “Review” class requires that the student has a current and valid certification in the class. It consists of a review of the course material, followed by a test. A “Challenge” class does not require a student to have certification. It is a testing session only; containing no review or teaching component. Students must provide their own books for both Review and Challenge classes. |
