To provide young people with meaningful opportunities to help their communities prepare for and respond to emergencies, to receive valuable skills and leadership training and to become a lasting part of the American Red Cross in Greater New York (ARC/GNY) family.

The Youth Group consists of approximately 1,500 young people from 14 - 18 years of age, representing over 75 high schools across the five boroughs.
