| Responsibilities: |
Provides emergency and preventive mental health services to people affected by disaster and to Red Cross workers assigned to a disaster relief operation including education about stressors, their effects, and methods of coping; and advocacy, crisis intervention, and referral services for resources to meet mental health-related problems. Training and support will be provided. |

| Qualifications: |
Licensed mental health professional (counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, Registered Nurses with considerable training and expertise in mental health.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to the diverse needs of a disaster situation.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the American Red Cross. |

One 6-8 hour shift per month |
