| Responsibilities: |
The American Red Cross in Greater New York relies on volunteers to provide lifesaving services and training for over 9 million people in the Greater New York area. Each volunteer is required to attend Volunteer Orientation. The course is an overview of the International and American Red Cross, their mission, and services, and information about the volunteer program within the chapter. |

| Qualifications: |
Excellent public speaking skills
Microsoft Office (specifically Powerpoint) proficient
Self-starter/ability to work without supervision
Working knowledge of the internet
Ability to travel to different Area Offices a plus |

| Time Commitment: |
One five-hour shift per month, classes are held on Monday to Saturday in the morning and in the evening |
