Community Outreach Leader Trainer
Department: Safety & Preparedness
Location: 520 West 49th Street
New York, NY 10019
Responsibilities: The Community Outreach Leader Trainer conducts training classes for Community Outreach Leader (CO Leaders) candidates who deliver preparedness presentations to community organizations and agencies. Classes provide information on how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Qualifications: Public speaking and communication skills
Ability to operate audio visual equipment. Training provided if necessary.

Punctuality
Bilingual skills a plus
Training: Volunteer Orientation (2 hours)
Community Outreach Leader Training (3 hours)
Continued mentoring/training provided as needed (minimum of 3 hours)
Must complete 6 community presentations annually
Time Commitment: 12 hours a month, including one 4-hour presentation each month
