| Responsibilities: |
The American Red Cross in Greater New York is in the midst of a strategic initiative to recruit and prepare 10,000 volunteers for a large scale disaster. To reach our goal, we are initiating a volunteer recruitment effort throughout our service area. The Volunteer Partner works with the Assistant Director, Recruitment, to reach these goals. |

| Qualifications: |
Must possess excellent customer service skills
College degree preferred
Experience in recruiting, sales, customer service a plus
Must be proficient in MS Office applications
Must be proficient in the use of the internet for research
Drivers license and ability to travel a plus |
|
| Training: |
Volunteer Orientation (2 hours)
Additional training as deemed necessary will be provided by the Volunteer Resources Department |
|
| Time Commitment: |
5 – 10 hours/week during normal business hours, with possibilities for telecommuting |
