| Responsibilities: |
Street Fair Volunteers will provide basic support by assisting at street fairs and community events where emergency preparedness materials are distributed. Street Fair Volunteers are a crucial part of the American Red Cross in Greater New York team; they represent the Red Cross to the community and provide important safety information to the residents of New York City. |

| Qualifications: |
Strong communication skills
Willingness to work outside during spring and summer months
Ability to carry up to 30 lbs

| Training: |
Volunteer Orientation (2 hours)
Additional training and support to be provided by the volunteer supervisor
|
 |
| Time Commitment: |
A minimum of one 3-8 hour event per month. |
