| Responsibilities: |
The American Red Cross of Greater New York Disaster Planning and Response Department is seeking an Intern. The incumbent will have significant impact on ARC/GNY’s relationship with the faith-based and non-profit community. The intern will help increase the number of disaster reserve volunteers, greatly increasing the chapter’s capacity to respond to medium to large scale disasters. |

| Qualifications: |
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a fast paced and stressful environment. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge of office systems, MS-Office preferred.
Well able and excited about working with many different demographic, cultural, and religious groups. |
