| Responsibilities: |
The Extra Help Tutoring program matches adult tutors with children ages 5 and older with the opportunity to develop their learning skills. As an Extra Help Volunteer Tutor, you will work with one child on a regular, weekly basis helping the child with homework or building skills in reading, writing and math. |

| Qualifications: |
• Work one-on-one with elementary and junior high school age child in a tutoring situation.
• Volunteers should be able to make a commitment to meet with child weekly during the school year.
• Ability to teach basic elementary school skills in a one-on-one setting.
• Spanish language proficiency highly desirable. |

2 hour per week throughout the entire school year |
