With its dependable hand-crank power generator that charges the unit's AM / FM / TV / Weather radio, a built-in LED flashlight, cell phone charger and emergency siren, the lightweight, portable Grundig FR400 is the go-to radio youll use first in an emergency, on a trip, hiking, camping, at the beach or relaxing in your backyard.
It can be charged from the built-in rechargeable Ni-MH battery that takes charge from the dynamo crank and from an AC adapter; from the AC adaptor alone; with the dynamo crank alone (even with no battery pack installed); and from three AA batteries (not included). Crank for approximately 90 seconds to receive up to 60 minutes of uninterrupted power to the radio. This sturdy, weather-resistant radio will give you a critical edge in emergency situations.
