| Responsibilities: |
The Public Affairs (PA) Photographer assists the American Red Cross in Greater New York in documenting the organization’s actions through still photography and/or video. The PA Photographer attends community functions to document participation and responds to emergencies to document the chapter’s response. The photos taken by the PA Photographer will be used on the ARC/GNY website, printed in ARC/GNY publications and used with news releases sent to media. |

| Qualifications: |
Must use his/her own equipment
Knowledge of digital photography necessary
Submission of a portfolio of his/her work, either in print or electronically preferred
Is responsible for acquiring photo release forms from residents who are photographed
All photographs and video become the property of the American Red Cross in Greater New York |

Volunteer Orientation (2 hours)
Fulfilling Our Mission (3 hours)
Public Affairs I (8 hours)
Mass Care (3 hours) (recommended) |

| Time Commitment: |
Scheduled for specific ARC/GNY events; on-call for emergency response |
